Funky Finds Spring Fling and New Do!

Saturday I had a great opportunity to participate in the Funky Finds Spring Fling. It was put together by an amazing hardworking couple! Jessica and Joe Dougherty did a fabulous job for their 1st show. I had a great opportunity to do their engagement photos last summer.

I wasn't expecting my first show to be a learning experience and just wanted to enjoy myself and the amazing talent around me. I had a blast, sold some of my items and got a lot of positive feedback about what I have been doing as a hobby for so long.

I had some amazing artists around me and made some new friends, which is always the best thing to walk away from.

Behind me was Deathly Cute out of Austin. This creative duo, Brandy and Michelle came all the way from Austin to do this show. I loved all of their fun stuff and bright colors!

To my right was MiaMaria! This very fun, totally adorable artist, Mia make amazing aprons and super cute purses. She asked me to do my very first trade, so I got this cute apron that I wore the entire show to hold my money, which was easier than my cash box. I believe she got one of the Camera Van prints. She was a wonderful neighbor :)

Across from me was also first timer Caroline Creates. She makes cute invitations and cards. She had a tough time with her paper goods and the door that was near by. We didn't get to much time to catch, but I wish her the best of luck with any of the shows in the future...hopefully not near a door.

New Hair!! Not as bright as I hoped...but I still love it! You can see the blue and purple slightly in this picture! I love the base color...darker definitely looks good.
