and thankful thirty...i have not forgot about you. i have been working and not getting home until late.
today i went and had lunch with my friend Skye. she helped me sew 3 of our own stockings. i am super excited and will have a picture soon.
i also have been working all evening on making pom poms for this fun wreath!
here is my pom poms so far!!
hopefuly i will be able to show you a finished wreath tomorrow...

i am going to start doing Jamie's Thankful Thirty. So to catch up...here is 3 things I am thankful for.
My family - they have taught me to take life slow, see people for who they are and appreciate life.
Charlie - he teaches me something new everyday. he loves me for who i am and allows me to grow and keeps me grounded when things start to feel tough.
To have a roof over my head - although I wish it was a bigger rough, it keeps me warm, it keeps me dry, i get to have a nice bed to go to every night and running water to take hot showers.

so i am taking a bit from lovely janel on goals
i have a hard time getting anything done
unless i have them wrote down some place
and able to cross them off and feel accomplished
1. order my supplies and get finish my ornaments for my swap
2. be the best bridesmaid ever for my lovely friend alex
3. have a good time, eat lots of food and dance my socks off at the wedding (pics to come on nov. 15th)
4. wrap all the christmas presents i have so far
5. clean out shed and storage closet
6. make christmas stockings
7. learn to sew better
8. find excellent black friday deals
9. spend quality time with family
10. take more pictures
11. start my "a week in the life"
12. comment and be more in touch with my bloggy friends
13. figure out christmas cards
14. clean entire house and donate all want nots.
15. make curtains for bedrooms
16. spend more time with the boy and do something for him this month
17. knit a scarf or two or three
18. send happy mail for no reason but to tell people they are special
19. gather ideas for a new tattoo
20. get a fun fall haircut and color

Yay! I am back!

I am back after almost a 2 week hiatus due to the Macbook being out of commission, due to a husky eating my power adapter.
Lots have gone on the past week or so!
Here is the short version :)
i got my lips done
i met Elvis Trooper
hung out with chewy and the cutest princess leia
saw darth vader doing some shopping (who knew?)
let r2d2 know that obie-wan kenobi was my only hope
then realized that elvis tropper was a poser and met the real storm troopers
after i got in all my star wars fantasies
i went to the bridal shower
for my bestest friend
whose wedding i am in on nov 14th
she was lovely
and i am so glad that she calls me her friend too
then on oct. 25th was my boy's 30th birthdayand i surprised him with dinner not with just a couple of friends
but with about 20 friends!!
he was surprised and didn't understand at first
what was going on!
then on friday i hung out with my favorite "gangsters"
then was saved and brought to the good side by an angel!
whew! what a crazy week!but before turning myself into a beauty from the 20's...i accidently cut my bangs..
thinking it was the wig!
no more scissors to my hair for a while!

so i started "a day in the life" today, because I actually forgot to do it yesterday. but right not i am without "my" laptop, because of no power cord.
so i will probably just start it once I have my laptop. i feel lost without it. i still have my work computer but can't put any programs or anything on it...so it is a boring "does what it needs to" laptop.
so i will probably start next monday.
